This month, The Gathering Line recaps our Annual Meeting at the Embassy Suites Downtown Louisville.  Among the many highlights of the conference, KOGA welcomed a new president, Mark Hughes, of Hughes Land, LCC in Henderson, and two new faces to its Board of Directors including Mark Sanders, of EnerBlu and Harry Callicotte, of Harry D. Callicotte, PLLC.

At the Membership Luncheon, Rudy Vogt was awarded the Robert G. Alley Service Award for his unending dedication to Kentucky’s oil and gas industry.

KOGA also heard from several interesting speakers including The Daily Signal’s Kevin Mooney and Virginia Tech Professor Ken Stiles on the Russian financial connection to the antifracing movement.

Presentations from the event can be found at

We will be switching to a new website and database at the end of the month, so stay tuned for details on that transition.

Please let us know if we can be of assistance. We look forward to working with you.
